stop motion
This is my stop motion that I did with Houston Newmark and Anna Marie Cobb. We uploaded all of the photos into lightroom and added a vignette. Then we added the the music in imovie.
We did another stop motion of a hand dance to beat it by Michael Jackson.

This is my magazine cover. It is less serious and has a commercial feel to it. It could be used to try and sell something. The bright colors intrigue people to look at it.
This is my artistic photo. It has a serious look to it. It doesn't look like it could be selling anything. It is in black and white and I added a split tone to it. It shows something about the person in it.

Portraits
This is my classic portrait. It is a profile taken with a black velvet background. I cropped it so it was only the face and made it black and white. I like the dramatic effect it creates.
This was taken in downtown Portland. I like how everyone is looking the same way as the paintings. It has a fun mood to it.
This is my environmental portrait. It is of my friend Olivia and was taken in a park near her house that she likes to go to. The intense expression on her face presents a side of her that not everyone gets to see.

Tiltshift
This is my tilt shift. It was taken at night from a plane flying over Dallas Texas. I like this photo because all of the detail is from the lights in the city. I focused this photo on the area where the L shaped building is.
Daguerrotype
This is my daguerreotype. It is of a clock in my house. I added the texture and the frame. The colors are less saturated and more metallic than the original photo. I like this photo because it doesn't need to be from a certain time period allowing it to actually look like its old.

light
This photo was taken by the waterfront in Portland. It shows black light when the subject is lit up. I like this photo because the light in the sky makes an interesting shape and Houston is in a fun pose.
This is my silhouette. It was taken in Portland of Houston. I like that the sun can actually be seen in the back. I cropped this photo so it was just her and nothing else.
This is my chiaroscuro. It is of an elephant statue in my house. I like that the trunk is the focus and it has an interesting texture. I thought the lighting made it look very dramatic.
This is a picture of reflection. It was taken in my bathroom where I angled the camera so the reflection in the mirror was shown. I like that people can see more of the counter in the reflection.
This is my picture of shadow. I edited the photo so the focus was more on the gate and its shadow. I like the lines that this photo has. It was taken at my house.

Panorama
This is my panorama. It is of my backyard when it snowed. I took the multiple pictures and put them together to make it look like one picture. I made the picture slightly brighter and applied the edits to all of the other photos so they didn't look different from each other.
Multiple exposure
This is my HDR. I took multiple photos photos of the same subject with different things being properly exposed. I tried to get both the buildings and the sky and clouds exposed properly.

Motion Assignment
This is my all motion picture. I took it out a window of my car. When I took the picture I moved the camera and caused the lights of the car behind me to blur. This photo was taken at night. I love the lighting and the lines in this picture
This is my freeze action photo. I adjusted the shutter speed so it would freeze the moving image. I took this picture at the park. Then I edited it to make it black and white. I like the mood that it creates.
This is my panning shot. I took it by angling my camera to the diagonal while someone ran down the stairs. In light room I edited the colors and exposure. I like that only her upper body is clear and that her legs a more like the background.

Diptych and triptych
I took both of these photos in Portland Oregon. They are both of bike racks that have one bike in them. I increased the saturation of both and increased the contrast on the left photo. I like that both of these photos were taken in very different locations but have the same content. I also like how colorful they both are.
I took all three of these photos in Portland Oregon. They are all of the Keller fountain but at different angles. I love the shapes that they make and the colors. I increased the contrast and the brightness of the photos.

shape assignment
I took this photo at my house in Portland Oregon. It has symmetrical balance and is dominantly organic shapes.I like the design of the candlestick and the effect of the shadow in the background.
I took this photo in Portland Oregon. It has asymmetrical balance. It has both organic and geometric shapes but the geometric shapes are more dominant. The small circles and the triangle are what stands out to me. I love the pattern that the plants make.
